Spanning approximately an acre and with depths that dance between 1.5 to 9 feet, our lake is a haven for fish and anglers alike. Home to spirited carp, some weighing in over 20lbs, along with Tench, Perch, Rudd, and Roach, the lake invites you to a world of exploration and excitement. From our Lakeside Lodges and Willow Lodge, each with their own private fishing platform, to our other cottages and lodges, all within a stone's throw of the lake, the fishing experience at Mill Farm Leisure is unparalleled.

Here at Mill Farm Leisure, fishing transcends a hobby; it becomes a way to unwind, reflect, and create memories. Fish from dawn until dusk, share stories by the lakeside, and let the Lincolnshire countryside be your muse. With Fishing Lodges no more than 30 meters from the lake at Mill Farm Fishery, every fishing holiday becomes uniquely yours, with nature right at your doorstep.

General Rules

• A valid EA Rod Licence is required before fishing.
• Fish only from the designated platforms—please do not fish between swims.
• You must have a disgorger, landing net, and unhooking mat to fish.
• Use a suitable landing net at all times; do not swing fish in.
• Return all fish to the water immediately—no keep nets or sacks allowed.
• Barbless hooks only (barbed hooks are strictly prohibited).
• No audible bite alarms—vibrate or flashing only.
• No fixed leads—all feeders and leads must be free-running.
• No braided line or hook lengths, including coated braid.
• Do not leave rods unattended at any time (maximum of 2 rods per person).
• Carry and use an unhooking mat for all fishing methods.
• Handle fish with care—kneel over an unhooking mat for photos.
• Weigh fish using a sling, zipped mat, or landing net.
• No bait boats
• No night fishing (fishing is strictly from dawn till dusk).
• You must fish from the lower deck only! (Lakeside lodges)
• Reserving Pegs is Not Allowed, Placing chairs, tackle boxes, or any equipment on a peg without actively fishing is strictly not permitted. if you're not fishing, your equipment must be removed. This ensures all guests have a fair and equal opportunity to enjoy the lake.

 Groundbaiting:

Groundbait is now allowed using Mill Farm Leisure carp pellets only, available from reception at £3.00 per kg. No other groundbait is permitted. To protect water quality and fish health, groundbait must be used in moderation.

Permitted Baits: Mill Farm carp pellets (for loose feeding), maggots, caster, paste (hook only), standard/micro/crushed pellets, sweetcorn, bread, luncheon meat.

Prohibited Baits: Boilies, bloodworm, jokers, nuts, cat/dog meat, artificial baits, pop-ups, wafters, hemp, tares, any loose groundbait.

Spot checks will be carried out. Please don't be offended if we ask to inspect your setup - this is to protect our fish and the lake.
